Che, the Maya word for tree bark, speaks of the sacred bond between people, nature and unseen forces.

In Maya culture, trees — and vines and plant cords above all — symbolize the connections between worlds: the roots reached down into the underworld, the trunk stood for the earthly world, and the branches touched the sky, the realm of the gods.

Che embodies that idea of deep connection, of grounding and balance. A strong symbol to wear, for those who want to keep a genuine bond with nature, with their roots, and with what connects us all to something greater.
